Today, research in the field of optoelectronics and nanophotonics is of great importance, which is confirmed by the large investments of developed countries. Extensive research in Iran, which has led to the publication of many articles and numerous research projects, shows the high scientific potential of the country in this field. Therefore, the expansion of activities in this field will lead to the promotion of the scientific-technological level of the country and the development of applied systems, including measuring systems and electronic and optical precision instruments.
Optoelectronics and Nanophotonics Research Group (affiliated to Tarbiat Modares University), was established in 2018 in order to meet some of the research needs of the country in the field of nanotechnology, photonics and electronics. One of the most important characteristics of nano-optoelectronics and nano-photonics research group is its multidisciplinary aspect. The members of this group are in the fields of electrical engineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering, nanotechnology and physics. Due to the wide needs in the existing industrial and research centers of the country (aerospace, defense industry, telecommunications, etc.) in the field of optoelectronics and nano-photonics, the group can play an effective role in conducting research and industrial projects and technology development.
